About Me

I am a Research Professional at the Center for the Study of Global Issues (GLOBIS) at the University of Georgia and a member of the Methodology, Research, and Design team for the Human Rights Measurement Initiative. I am also a Ph.D. Candidate in International Relations and Political Methodology in the Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. I received my B.A. in Political Science in 2019 from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Research

My research focuses on questions regarding state repression, human rights, and how these concepts can be best measured and evaluated. In particular, I'm interested in how agents responsible for implementing repressive policies affect what actually occurs in practice.
